Chapter 3: The Last Day of Ta'aruf Week

Assalamualaikum guys! I know, it's quite late for me to post about this but I'm quite busy lately so I don't really have time to update my blog and well sorry about that... hehe. Anyway, this post will be mainly about my last day in Ta'aruf Programme 2011/2012 as on of the committee which has ended in about two weeks ago. However, the memories of the Ta'aruf Week still fresh in my mind and are not easily to be forgotten.

The TRI-X Team: " Korang memang terbaik! "

On the last day of Ta'aruf Week, I and other committees in Tri-X are given the task to handle the Tilawah Entrance Test (TEnT) with cooperation from the Registration Bureau. This test was held in two days, Thursday (2/6/2011) and on Friday (3/6/2011). Handling and managing this test are quite difficult and challenging as we have to handle a massive amount of students in one time. Alhamdulillah, with the help and cooperation given from the Tri-X itself and the Registration Bureau, the test can be conducted and run smoothly even there's some problem that we have faced before the test started. Also, alhamdulillah all the problems faced by us managed to be solved and all the backup plans that we have planned during the induction week can be executed properly according to what we have planned. Some of the problem we have to face are number of students which are too many for us to handle, the insufficient chairs, not enough waiting room and others. But, alhamdulillah, with the help from other bureau committees especially to staff committees, also SENTRA, RDW and SPECIAL TASK which help to usher and to move the students from gathering area to the examination venue on time. Not to forget to the PREP & TECH which has given their full efforts in making sure that the floor plan are executed properly accordingly what have been planned and also making sure that all facilities in the examination venue are properly functioning.

On the night, we have the last event on the Ta'aruf Programme which is The Welcoming and Bai'ah Ceremony. This event is the point where all the new students are officially become the CFS IIUM students. Eventhough this event was not held at the field (because of raining) as in any other Ta'aruf Week before this, the Welcoming and Bai'ah Ceremony conducted in the Al-Malik Faisal Hall still looking nice and grand with the nice gimmick and video presentation. Also, I can see the spirit that shown by the new students when they're reciting the Bai'ah or the vow which made them the official students of CFS IIUM. This also can be seen when there are singing the official song of CFS IIUM.

Although, the works, tasks and everything that we have to do during the Ta'aruf Programme was really exhausting and tired, I do still feeling fun as these taught me a lot of things and exposing me to the new environment, working committees and also giving me such a nice and new experience, which insya allah can be used in the future. I'm always going to remember this precious moment, my co-woking committees and also the whole week of the Ta'aruf Programme 2011/2012. Hopefully, the Ta'aruf Programme after this would be better and better and always maintaining to be the best programme ever conducted.

Finally, to all new students of CFS IIUM, I hope you take this opportunity to be here in CFS IIUM to study very hard and maintaining a good results in every semesters as you have been choosen from a hundred thousand students to be here in the Gateway to the Garden of Knowledge to pursue your studies in your respective programme that you have chosen. Last but not least, welcome, ahlan wasahlan and selamat datang to CFS IIUM. Thank you. Wasalam. :)
