Assalamualaikum guys! Okay, I guess all of you aware about computer viruses rite and I know any of you have an experience with those viruses. Really annoying isn't it? Yup, I admit it, especially when it can't be remove or the one that really "stubborn" or hard to remove... hehe... Anyway, what I'm going to say is, most of us didn't aware the importance of antivirus software and some of us do have this software but didn't aware whether it is updated most of the time or not (hmm, this is really dangerous).
Antivirus software is the most important software that every computer users should have, especially the Windows operating users. Without virus protection, our computer are vulnerable to virus and our information or any important data might be stolen without we notice it. So what choice do we have? There are a lot of antivirus software that we can choose today whether the commercial (paid license) or the free edition. However, if you downloaded the software from the Internet, beware of those malware (malicious software) or the fake antivirus software which may contain virus. Therefore, you should do research on the company or the software developer before downloading it (by google-ing, asking friends, etc).
If you do like better protection, you may purchase antivirus from the market like Kaspersky, Avast, AVG, TrendMicro, McAfee, Avira, etc. But, in my opinion, the free antivirus software like Avast Free Edition (which I'm using now) provide what I think more than enough protection to my computer. The type of antivirus you can use differs from person to person as it depends on the user requirements and his/her daily usage. If you use to surf into websites that require higher protection like the Internet banking site or any sites that require higher security connection or need an advanced protection, you may choose to use the commercial antivirus edition like Kaspersky Internet Security, AVG Internet Security, BitDefender Total Security, etc. However, if you use for basic usage, simple surfing session, then the Free Edition may provide you with enough protection.
So, in conclusion, antivirus is very very very important to provide you with secure and safer computing environment and help to protect your private information better. Therefore, start making your digital world safer and secure by installing an antivirus software now. For those who already have these software installed, please make sure it is updated all the time (if not, you still vulnerable to the virus attack even there is still antivirus software are installed).Some of my suggestion is, if you like to use a free edition antivirus, the latest Avast Free Antivirus is the best choice in my opinion, as it can provide what I call the best protection ever that a free antivirus can provide with "Sandbox" feature and other kind of protection that other free antivirus cannot provided. For the paid licensed antivirus or the commercial edition, Kaspersky, BitDefender, TrendMicro are some of good choices of antivirus that you can use.
